UNIT 5 WHAT'S THE MATTER? LESSON 1

HELLO AGAIN YEAR 2 !

You are about to start Unit 5 of your English coursebook New Tiger 2. In this unit, you will learn to identify the names of health problems and what we need to do to stay healthy. The songs and the story, together animations, games and immersive worlds, are included in the Pupil’s App on Navio. If you don't have access, we'll make audios and videos available, together with a Flipbook with units 4-6 if you don't have the textbook at home.

Vamos a empezar la Unidad 5 del libro de inglés New Tiger 2. En ella aprenderéis los nombres de algunas enfermedades y lo que debemos hacer para estar sanos. Las canciones y el cuento se encuentran en la App del Alumno en Navio, junto con animaciones, juegos y mundos virtuales. Si no se tiene acceso, ponemos a vuestra disposición los audios y videos así como el Flipbook con las unidades 4-6 si el libro de texto no está en casa.

 The 3 year-olds know Maisy and her friends. They love them. 

In class we read Maisy's Big Flap Book, Maisy's Bedtime and Maisy's Bus.

These stories by Lucy Cousins are very simple and easy to follow.

SPOT'S FIRST EASTER by Eric Hill

This is a very sweet story for the little ones. 

Spot and his friend Helen go on an Easter egg Hunt. The Easter bunny has hidden 6 eggs and they have to find them. 

What colour are the eggs? 

Can you see the Easter bunny?

(The 3 year-olds know Spot already. In class we read Where's Spot? and Spot's First Christmas. They are lift-the-flap books and the kids love that. Here it's not the same, but we hope they'll enjoy it!)
