HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, our young students embarked on a creative journey that beautifully captures the essence of gratitude.

Transforming our simple trees into a colourful canvas, each leaf tells a tale of appreciation for family, friends, love and more.

I SEE, I EXPLORE, I CREATE

Our children in Year 2 Infant Education are starting their participation in this eTwinning project about Art and Artists.

We started in October with the voting for the project logo and their favourite has been the winner.

They have also made these self-portraits in the style of Picasso to present themselves to children from schools in Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Italy, Estonia, Turkey and Slovenia.

This is a promising start!

ETWINNING NATIONAL PRIZE 2023 VIDEO

The videos to present the winning projects of the National Award 2023 in the category of Infant Education have just appeared on the YouTube channel of eTwinning Spain.
There are short and long versions, but here is the long version of our project Calling for Earth Heroes.
We were a bit nervous, we had some last minute changes, we did a lot of repetitions, we were excited about the preparation of the shooting: the microphone connection, the lighting, the camera..., but of course we had a great time filming.
Not everything that was recorded came out, obviously, but the result is very cool, don't you think?
It was quite an experience!

WARM AND COOL MONSTERS

Our 5th graders have used the concept of warm and cool colours to invent their own Monsters. They selected warm or cold colours to colour them.

But the Monsters had to have a positive quality which had to be reflected in the drawing... They made a draft before making the final one.

Now, we have a terrifying but wonderful exhibition in the hallway...

"C" FOR CARNIVAL (4 years old)

Party time and foam is always welcomed in our classroom, even more if it helps us learn phonics and have some fun!

But sometimes the white foam needs colour and what better opportunity than Carnival to practice our auditory discrimination, reading and writing.

Hands, music and our laughter are the best indicators of learning, let's enjoy it!

MY BODY

In 4 years we have already discovered that our body can be a lot of fun! Not only because it lets us dance, move... and we can recognise its different parts like we have done dancing the song of "My body" but because on this occasion we have discovered a new game!

Throwing the dice as a team and with many colours we have been creating our own dynamic work of art.

Ready to dance or ready to play?

Some songs we have danced:

WINTER HAS ARRIVED IN THE 4 YEARS OLDS' CLASSES

Winter has arrived and no matter if it's not snowing in Zaragoza, we have decided to create snow in our classrooms at this special time of the year.

We started with a motivational story: "My nose" by Anna Panisello, and we continued dancing with "Snowman freeze", to end creating snow with water and baking soda. A wonderful experiment full of magic.
Do you want to take a look? Enjoy it!

CHRISTMAS AT CEIP CESÁREO ALIERTA

On the last day of term the Infant, Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils came together to celebrate Christmas by singing Christmas carols in a variety of styles.

The sixth graders sang two songs for us and the fifth graders sang and danced a cool Christmas rock 'n' roll. Our little ones sang and danced their favourite Christmas songs, too.

We had a great time together!

This is a small sample of this activity at school.
