SYMMETRICAL MONSTERS!

 Year 2 have been working on symmetries across the board in Maths and Art. These are the amazing symmetrical monsters they have created. They are wonderful!

EARTH DAY

In 6th grade for Earth Day we have been creating pop up books in small groups.

The little ones at school have a great time acting out the story of the 5 little monkeys teasing Mr Crocodile!

In 5th grade for Earth Day we have practiced pointillism by using tempera paint with cotton buds. Here you can see some of their creations. 

ANIMAL FOOTPRINTS

There are sounds of the jungle, of the savannah... Who has come to see us? 

We took paintbrushes and carefully discovered different footprints on the ground... What a thrill!
